Status update on tasks?

Status updates on tasks? I opened a project today and could not find a way to provide a status update on individual tasks. For this particular project this is important as each task is a discrete activity with no dependencies. Basically we're tracking project milestones across a number of customer deployments assigned to individuals. We have a weekly call to review the status of each account which could easily be eliminated by updating task status here. Any plans to build that functionality in?

We absolutely have plans to add that in and do understand that will be increasingly important. I would hope to see that in the next few weeks.
