Sort by due

It would be nice to be able to sort projects by due date.

  • Early on we discussed project due dates, but our current release only includes due dates on project plan items, which doesn't really address your issue. Thanks for bringing this up we will definitely spend some time thinking about this.

As a follow up, if you were able to, what percentage of your projects/cases do you think you would you assign due dates to?

On the work side, I'd say close to 100%. I handle a large volume of small matters and try to respond on a "first in-first out" basis for the most part, with variations for more pressing matters that need to be addressed right away. So in Outlook I've been assigning normal tasks without a specified deadline a one month due date which gives me leeway to slide in more urgent items with shorter deadlines.

After posting the idea, I did notice the due dates for plan items. I might be able to make use of that, and in some cases it would be more logical then looking at overall project due dates. In the current version is there an option to see a list of the project plan item due dates? That would be cool because it would actually show me where I am on overall workflow and what I need to be doing next.
