How can I link documents stored on ONIT to spreadsheets?
Document management question- Is there a way to link documents stored on Onit to a spreadsheet by inserting a hyperlink into the spreadsheet?
-
Yes but it will require you to login to the site to view the document the url is :
https://secure.onit.com/documents/XXX.... Where XXX is the document number. If you hover over the document and right click you should have a option to copy the link. You can then past it into your spreadsheet.
Hope this answers your question.

Aileen Leventon March 19, 2010 16:51Thank you for your response but I'm afraid this does not solve my problem. I have tried to create the hyperlink in the method described in your answer but have found that when I click on the hyperlink I am brought to the initial sign-in page for ONIT and, upon signing in, am directed to my account's homepage, rather than directed to the exact document which I was seeking. I believe that I am able to click on a hyperlink and be brought directly to that exact document using SharePoint. Is there a way to accomplish this using ONIT?EditDeleteRemove

Then I think you have found a bug. Once you have logged in it should remember your login and take you straight to the page you requested. I will take a look and see if I can reproduce.
Thanks

Aileen, I can't reproduce the issue, can you send me the url you are putting in the spreadsheet, also what browser/version are you using (e.g. IE 8) .
Thanks
