Activity List
Can you turn off the activity list? Not sure I want to always see this especially with the amount of input when creating a project.

No, the activity list can't be turned off. We do continue to work on what activity creates a news event. In some cases we are creating more news events than is desirable. For example, when you move an item on a project plan, we create a news event. This isn't terribly helpful.
Let us know what activity you think should be reported and what shouldn't. -

My opinion. When creating a new project none of these items should be shown on an activity list. These items would have the same creation date as the project so there is no need. Once the project is saved for the first time every addition or change should be logged but not necessarily always shown on the latest activity list. I think this should be reserved for critical changes (i.e project closed, missed deadlines, new project creation (one line only from the project header) and the most important changes (i.e date changes, cost changes, change in critical indicator). Most individuals will ignore the activity list if it includes everything.
